Current trends still show the progression of the artificial processor (CPU's, IC's, etc) will continue to grow exponentionally, surpassing the processing power of the human brain by 2017. By 2021, AP's will be 100 times faster than the human brain.
Cybernetics and genetics will be the leading scientific fields of research & development during the 21st century.
By 2090, existence will be redefined on every level. At this point, dying is now a personal decision, communication is primarily non-verbal as intelligence exists in infinite variety.
